For CrossFit beginners and veterans alike, the urge to give in their best day in and day out, often without any rest, is quite strong. How else are we supposed to follow in the footsteps of the Gods of CrossFit Games and break barriers we never knew we could? For most of us, our instincts tell us, the more the better.

However, not only is that belief erroneous, but it can also lead to injuries, along with physical and mental burnouts. Before you take up CrossFit in Wisconsin, you should know that it is challenging and you might not have ever trained like your instructors would ask you to do. It is highly preferably that you go for short, yet intense, workouts and enjoy the results rather than stretching your routine longer where it would take a serious toll on your body.

Avoid Giving It Your All Every Day

With the highly competitive nature of the routine and others constantly pushing you to squeeze out those last few reps, it is quite tempting to give in your 110 percent each and every day. But remember, sometimes it is just better to cruise through the workout. As you progress through your CrossFit sessions, you will become stronger and while you will want to work harder, it will be simple to point out when you need to take it easy.

Avoid Taking Weeks Off
